Water Damage Restoration
Humidity & Moisture Drying
When the outdoor air is wetter than the building, opening windows adds water. Drying means a closed building and conditioned air.
161 Florida towns have pages for this; the same number serves the rest of the state.
The call is free, and calling commits nobody to booking any work.
What this covers
Bringing walls, floors and the slab back to their normal moisture when the outdoor air is wetter than the building. In the humid season a wet building will not dry by being opened up; it has to be closed and its air conditioned.
When to call
After any water loss, and especially from late spring to early fall, when walls stay damp, surfaces sweat, or a room still feels and smells wet days after the water was removed.
What the work involves
Closing the building to outside air, removing water from the indoor air with dehumidification, and reading materials until they match unaffected material in the same building. Block and slab release water slowly, so readings are taken in them, not only at the surface.
Still wet, or wet again?
Whatever the source of the water, a single call connects to an independent contractor working near the property.
One free call, and no obligation to book anything.
